Apparently, six individuals (in one month) complained that wild burros near Pahrump, Nevada, wandered onto private land. (DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?)
Wild Horse Freedom Federation believes there are fewer than 5,000 wild burros left on public lands in the entire U.S.A. Wild burros should be listed on the endangered species list. The BLM should not be removing any of them.
Meanwhile, the BLM’s Southern Nevada Field Office recently sold 414.93 acres of public lands and raked in $49.7 million.
According to BLM Herd Area & Herd Management Area Statistics for Fiscal Year 2013, BLM estimated there were 208 wild burros in the Johnnie HMA.
